Kwesi Jackson has officially signed to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, marking an exciting next step while he continues to add to an already impressive and well-rounded career at Hazel Green.
Over six seasons competing in both indoor and outdoor track and field, Kwesi has developed into one of the program’s most impactful athletes. His journey has been defined by steady growth, consistency, and the ability to deliver in big moments—qualities that have made him a leader for the Trojans.

Kwesi currently holds three school records: Outdoor Triple Jump (47-0.75), Indoor Long Jump (21-2.75), and Indoor Triple Jump (46-7.75). His dominance in the horizontal jumps has set him apart, while his contributions in sprinting and hurdles highlight his versatility and athleticism.
Beyond the track, Kwesi has also made a significant impact in the band program. A multi-instrumentalist, he has performed with the marching band on trombone and tuba, and with the jazz band on bass. His ability to balance both athletics and music at a high level reflects his dedication, discipline, and commitment to his team and school.
Even with his signing complete, Kwesi’s high school career is not finished. With key meets still ahead this season, he remains focused on continuing to compete at a high level and adding to his already impressive list of accomplishments.

More than any record or performance, Kwesi will be remembered for how he has represented Hazel Green—with pride, consistency, and a relentless work ethic. As he prepares for the next level, he continues to set the standard for what it means to be a Trojan.
